TAILORING

On top of our company intergenerational experience we have the handmade production, for neckties and textile items.
The exclusive Italian knowledge, acquired in several years from our seamstress and tailors, made our productions well distinguibile on the contemporary hand-made scenery (scenario).
The real “Sartoriale” necktie needs care and patience, because it needed ( needing)23 steps for finalizing it.
All products are made in our internal departments, and they includes bowties, pocket squares and, obviously, neckties, from 3 to 12 folds, self-tipped or untipped.
We always cherish our customer’s desire, and for this reason, beside the traditional selection of patterns, colors shape and length, we offer the option to select also the personal ideogram or a small embroidery to make on tie. The respect we have for our clients is the same we have in front of the materials we use.

HAND CUTTING

The cutting process is one of the most important step in the handmade necktie production, as it inevitably affects the aesthetics and fit.
We respect the traditional methods. We use forms, tailor’s chalk, tape measure and scissors. All cutting is rigorously on the bias allowing us to perfectly centre the pattern.

HAND SEWED LINING

This step of the tailoring process is carefully carried out cm after cm using always the same width of stitch. Each necktie is carefully examined to avoid any eventual defects.

PINNING

This a critical step of the tailor made production, where high accuracy and detail care is much needed. The creation of the folds and the cachet centering affect the quality of the product.

SEWING

The “cachet” sewing, made exclusively by hands, is topic to have the correct vertical alignment of the tie, which is named “lead” of the tie.

PUNTO OCCHIELLO (SMERLO)

This small, handmade loop close the back side of the tie. Being a personal and distinctive line of the owner, we offer a large choice of colors and yarns.

PUNTO SELLA

A fine and precious hand stitching on the back of the tie giving a touch of refined elegance whilst at the same time assuring quality and flexibility.

PUNTO CROCE

Made with small cross running along the backside cachet of the tie, give originality and an extra touch of eccentricity.

UNLINED TIE

Rigorously hand rolled edges by skilled hands, this step enriched the material of excellence as cashmere, cotton, grenadine and prints.
Suggested for the man who love a less-formal elegance with a feeling of lightness.

3 FOLDS TIE

Being the easiest of the traditional craftsmanship, introduce you in the tailoring of excellence.

6 FOLDS TIE

This traditional craftsmanship requires high precision and attention. The characteristic folds give to final product like a treasure chest to leaf through.

ASIMMETRIC 7 FOLDS TIE

This structurally complex craftsmanship requires attention and a maximum care for a valuable result.

ASIMMETRIC 9 FOLDS TIE

Inspired to the traditional sartorial craftsmanship, is made without using any inside lining, and it is the most difficult and gentle product.
To make this a unique processing is the fact that the shape and body are given by the silk that folds back on itself repeatedly without the use of other materials

FOULARD AND POCKET SQUARE

Our seamstress hemmer hands take care the foulard and pocket square production.

PAPILLON

The careful tailoring of ties is reversed by our seamstresses in the creation of customizable bowtie in fabrics, patterns and shapes.
